The Institute of Great Achievement for Welfare Care Service Ltd/GTE (IGA–WCS) is a non-profit training and capacity-building institution based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Our Story
How IGA–WCS began
IGA–WCS was founded in response to a simple, persistent gap: too many people needing care were being supported by caregivers who had never been formally trained, and too many institutions lacked the systems to sustain quality care.
What began as informal caregiver coaching grew into a structured institute delivering professional training, capacity building, community welfare programmes, humanitarian services, research, and institutional development , and, more recently, the National Pain Relief Initiative (NPRI), our flagship health programme.
Today we work with hospitals, nursing homes, NGOs, government agencies, universities, and healthcare organisations to raise the standard of welfare and care service across Nigeria.
