Dedicated to improving access to quality pain management and palliative care through professional education, advocacy, research, health system strengthening, and strategic partnerships.

About NPRI

Pain relief as essential healthcare

The National Pain Relief Initiative (NPRI) is the flagship health programme of the Institute of Great Achievement for Welfare Care Service (IGA–WCS). NPRI is dedicated to improving access to quality pain management and palliative care through professional education, advocacy, research, health system strengthening, and strategic partnerships.

The initiative works with healthcare professionals, hospitals, educational institutions, government agencies, civil society organizations, and international partners to ensure that people living with pain receive safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

NPRI is committed to building a future where effective pain relief is recognized as an essential component of quality healthcare and where no person suffers unnecessarily because appropriate pain care is unavailable.
